More Online Resources Coming Soon!

Dear Readers,

It is time for me to step away from posting regularly on this blog in order to complete the production of online teaching materials I have in my heart for you. I may still post blog entries here and there as there is so very much more I'd love to share(!), but it will be sporadic, if at all. After producing the online curriculum for you I will return to posting on this blog regularly.

Remember that this blog is meant to supplement Strong Love Parenting's teaching material and your parenting process. It is NOT the meat and potatoes, so if you've come here looking for how to raise a child with RAD or how to put a halt to significant emotional and behavioral issues, you are not going to be anywhere close to sufficiently helped. Those issues cannot be appropriately or safely addressed in this format. Instead, I encourage you to look into parent coaching, which is currently available through Strong Love Parenting, or Strong Love parenting's coming online curriculum, which is under development.

This blog largely focuses on recovery time (a.k.a. self-care), bonding, and a healthy mindset for parenting because these are the most challenging aspects of parenting a child with RAD. In these areas I hope you receive from this blog encouragement, ideas, or at least the knowledge that you are not alone in this incredibly difficult struggle for rehabilitating hurtful, traumatized persons.

May you grow in the love, joy, peace, trust and respect for others, and self-control which you want your child to absorb. This is no simple task, but may we together take the next step forward each moment at a time.
